Regular Season
The season started out with a resounding victory over Sporting Kansas City in the CONCACAF Champions League; Fourside won the two legged tie 6-0. However, their MLS season got off to a poor start, with a 4-0 loss to Austin, and another loss to DC United. Fourside rebounded with a win against CSD Comunicaciones, and against Orlando in the MLS. Fourside led 2-1 in the second leg, but Fourside surrendered three goals within the last 20 minutes of the game, only advancing on away goals. Though the team won against Miami, losses against Charlotte and Montreal were especially concerning with the team, as Aron Johannsson battled knee issues, keeping him out of both games.
After a draw against Atlanta, Fourside started a winning streak with wins over LAFC and a double-header win against Toronto. Another win against Minnesota then followed. At Soldier Field in Chicago, Fourside grabbed a last minute win from a goal from Luca de la Torre, sealing their fifth straight win, a club record (though still some ways off from their unbeaten streak of 11 games dating back to 2019). Their win streak extended to six thanks to another late goal, this time from Jeremy Ebobisse. Their win streak reached 7 games, until Fourside played to a draw against Philadelphia. Still, their unbeaten streak continued, notably with a 4-4 draw against NYCFC, with a hat-trick from Aron Johannsson. The streak eventually reached 14 games without a defeat, but this ended on July 17 against Columbus with a 2-0 loss.
On July 7, the Eagles acquired Designated Player Alejandro Pozuelo from Toronto FC in return for 500k of GAM money; Fourside in turn dealt Joevin Jones to Miami to free up a roster spot. Despite this, the Eagles' winless streak continued, stretching to seven games, with Fourside drawing the vast majority of the games they played. This included a 4-4 draw against Miami, with braces from Pozuelo and Shinyashiki not enough, as Fourside surrendered a goal late into stoppage time. Fourside finally got a win against Philadelphia, ending a seven game winless streak. Wins against Atlanta and the Red Bulls followed.
In their game against Columbus, Fourside led 2-1 late in the game, only to be stymied by a late goal 6 minutes into stoppage time. Against Charlotte, the team was reunited with former assistant coach Geoff McCollough (now coaching Charlotte) and club legend Miguel Senna, who had his jersey number retired at halftime. Fourside won the match 2-0. After a draw against NYCFC, Fourside thrashed San Jose 6-0 at home, before they faced off against Atlas FC in their first appearance in the Campeones Cup. Fourside won against Atlas 2-0 as well. Fourside then won the Micronesian Championship after North York walked off the field in protest over an official's call.
Fourside remained unbeaten to the end of the season, ending up with 65 points overall in the standings, the most in team history. Jeremy Ebobisse clinched the MLS Golden Boot, scoring a hat-trick on the final game of the season against DC United. Fourside placed second in the Eastern Conference and the Supporters' Shield behind the Philadelphia Union, placing only two points behind. Fourside won the first round against Orlando and the second round against Montreal in convincing fashion, and faced off against Philadelphia in the Conference Final on the road. Despite Fourside taking the lead on a goal from Pozuelo, Philadelphia scored twice in the span of three minutes en route to their victory, eliminating the Eagles from the playoffs.
